The Beltronics V940 has full X, K SuperWide KA, as well as laser detection, Mute & Automute features, and Safety Warning System radar capability. In addition, it has visual and audible visual band alerts. The device has long-range capabilities thanks to its multiple laser sensors, and this also greatly reduces the amount of false alarms.

The construction of this device is very solid; it seems to have a very good build. Customization features are another high point, the ‘program’ mode lets you change certain things. You can choose to automatically skip or not have the start-up chirp test, mute the X-alerts with ‘Auto-Mute’, and change the standby settings.
Voice alerts is another good feature, the device will beep and a voice will announce “K-Band” for the alerts.
While a few things can be customized with this device, it doesn’t have too many extra frills or out of the ordinary features that you wouldn’t expect to find. It is a solid device however that gets the job done.
